My Education & Experience

I received my BA in Social Science from Washington State University. During this time, I volunteered as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) being the voice for Foster Children in the courts. I have worked for the state of Washington in various Counseling and Training capacities with incarcerated juveniles as an intensively trailed Dialectical Behavior Therapist. I completed my Masters in Social Work from the University of Washington in 2010. I have worked in an Emergency Room as a Social Worker and on Ft Lewis at the Warrior Transition Battalion assessing and treating Soldiers and their Families. I have also been trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. I have trainings in Family Systems, Early Childhood Development, Gender Issues, Geriatrics, Food Addiction, Obesity and Diabetes, Corporate Systems, Time Management, Balancing Work & Family, and many other valuable skills. I have been in Private Practice since April of 2013.

My Practice & Style

I believe in my clients.

Before taking on a client, we schedule a brief consult to ensure goodness of fit.

By me accepting you as a client it means that I am committing fully to your success and your long term sustainability.

I give genuinely of myself and for this reason, I limit my client load. I want to ensure that the clients I serve have access to me and that know at every moment they have my full support. I do have a waitlist available as my interventions are brief (30-90 days).

After going through my program, I offer monthly check ins for my clients as needed.
